Recently, I have started learning LaTeX, a document processing method other than the famous WORD. This is very helpful if you are involved in technical documentation, wherein you have several equations in your Document, several specific formatting requirements, etc. (Places where you find Word annoying!!!)

To do work in LaTeX is like doing HTML coding. It can be done in a "Notepad" but there are editors that make your work easier.
Basic requirement is the MiKTeX. You can install it from the link given below.

LEd and LyX are editors but with a different approach. While the former is more program writing oriented, the latter is more similar to Word based on WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) approach
